Party Time!

Bill and I flew to Boise for a power packed weekend! First of all, Michael and Jamie's cute little Ava, celebrated turning 2! The family gathered for strawberry cake and a delicious pink punch made with raspberry sherbet and Ginger Ale or Sprite (...yummy, try it!) And our Princess Ava opened her presents and entertained all of us with her cuteness!

The next day, Mindy and David's Miles was BAPTIZED! He is the most tender hearted darling boy you could ever know with an incomparable imagination. We were so proud of him!

As the family was gathered, the Johnson's also chose this day to bless Charlie. He looked like a little angel in the smocked outfit his Grandma Jan had made him (and each of her grandchildren!) and Daddy David gave him a beautiful blessing.

Of course, we had to have a picture with our precious Boise grandchildren and we always miss Ryan and Julie and their four children at times like these. We went from the church to Mindy's where she provided a delicious meal for the rather large family gathering. (David is one of 11 siblings!) We love being with the Johnson's and it was a beautiful day.

And the following evening was Super Bowl Sunday. We gathered at Adam and Steph's for the game and we each predicted the winner and score. Adam provided fabulous prizes for the adult, boy and girl who came the closest to the final score. The Johnsons cleaned house on the prizes! It was such a fun weekend. We treasure these times.
