St. George has many miles of paved bike trails that we love to ride. Here Mindy and David's family come to the end of a trail that had taken us along the Virgin River. Love bike riding with the kiddies! (Ryan and Julie's family came a few days later.)
We explored an area of the beautiful southern Utah red rock and found these ancient petrogylphs dating to 700-800 a.d. (This is Grampa, Sadie, Miles, Weston and Will.)
This slot canyon was nearby and very fun to explore. Mindy carried #6, Charlie, and David backpacked #5, Henry...so all could enjoy the fun.
We met up with Julie's family at the Valley of Fire (in between St. George and Las Vegas) and had a great time exploring the caves. (Julie, Lily, Sophie, Sadie and Grampa.)
Finished off the day seeing Lion King in Las Vegas!
Another birthday for me rolled around. Time marches (or races) on!
As a tradition, we climb to the top of the "Dixie" sign on the north side of the Boulevard. (The sign is below us.)
As another favorite activity, we bike "down" Snow Canyon. David was the only one to bike UP! Grueling!
And then there was General Conference and Easter to enjoy together. We dyed eggs, had the Easter egg hunt and Easter dinner on Saturday as Sunday was a travel day for the family. The kids swam everyday, and enjoyed playing with their cousins. It was such a fun week.
