Family Reunion Memories

This year our Shipp Family Reunion was held in Boise which meant that only Gramma and Grampa and Ryan and Julie's family needed to travel. Fun, fun, fun every day! I snapped over 90 pictures during the week and would like to post them all, but that would be a little over the top! So here is a condensed version. The above picture was taken at the park where we arrived after a beautiful bike ride along the Boise river. Here cousins Parker (Mike's), Zach (Adam's) and Lily (Ryan's) have cooled off in the fountain after the ride. Austin (Ryan's) gives me an easy smile!

Ellie, Abby, Hannah (Adam's), Will (Mindy's) Sophie (Ryan's) and Kate (Adam's) enjoy the park before we get on our bikes and head back to Michael and Jamie's for dinner and a swim at their neighborhood pool.

These are our "fabulous five" oldest granddaughters. They have a "fabulous" time together. Cutie pie Ava (Mike's) looks on from the beach chair.

During the week we watched all the "big boys" play ball! It was like rewinding the clock for Bill and me..."seems like only yesterday" since we spent our summers cheering our boys on in baseball.

Back to Adam and Steph's for swimming, hot tubbing and a delicious BBQ dinner.

Now for the big news! Jamie completed a 5K run and Mindy, Steph and Julie ran a half marathon! We were all there at the park to cheer them in!

And because it was a beautiful day, a beautiful park and the kids are so cute, I had to take pictures of the non-runners (though Mason ran a mile just for fun after the race.)

David and the big boys were at a Father's and Son's outing, Henry and Charlie with a babysitter, but there were plenty of us to cheer on Mindy and Sadie.                                                                                Adam and Zach

The last night we got together to watch a performance by Hannah, Ellie, Sadie, Kate and Sophie. Henry (Mindy's) had fun in the dress-up was NOT a part of the program.

Show Time! (Sadie, Sophie, Hannah) After the show, the adults enjoyed an evening of dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, Iceberg shakes, and back to Adam and Steph's for Father's Day gifts for Bill and a fun game that kept us laughing till past midnight. Family times are the very BEST times! Thank you to Steph, Mindy and Jamie for feeding and housing us and to Ryan and Julie for making the long drive to Boise! Wasn't it great?!
