Michael and Jamie's cute family came to town, so for fun and to escape the heat we headed up to Silver Lake at Brighton for a mountain walk and dinner. It was so beautiful!
Here is Gramma and cutie pie, Ava! Daddy Michael and daughter, Ava, walk hand in hand.

The kids had painted egg cartons (different "nature" colors in each cup) and then on the hike they looked for "matches."
Mason, Ava and Parker
After the "hike" we went down Big Cottonwood Canyon to our favorite picnic spot, The Birches. The water was low enough to play on and with the rocks.
Part of our picnic was a cool bowl full of cherries. I told Mason how I used to look for the doubles to make earrings...he picked right up on it!

Back home we went for our traditional bike ride with Gramma. Mason and I ended up riding down to Cottonwood Creek and Crestwood Park where Mason played in the water and had a ball...same river as up the canyon, just closer to home. Very fun and cool!

Parker all set for the bike ride.

Slip and Slide in the backyard, and as always, a ride in Grampa's Corvette.

Bowling pictures not included and about 100 other darling pictures, but these are the highlights. It is so fun to have the kiddies come to Gramma's! Sure LOVE these children AND their parents!
