Mindy and her spectacular six made a quick trip to Utah while David was on High Adventure with his young men. We packed lots of fun and activities into a few days and had a great time together! First off was a bike ride along the Porter Rockwell bike trail!

Then we found a wonderful "hands on" museum in South Jordan recommended by my sister, Nancy, who had many of her beautiful quilts on display. (Gale Museum)

Slip and Slide in Gramma's backyard and bike rides down to Cottonwood Creek in the evenings.

I wasn't looking forward to a hot day in the sun, but Grampa was determined that we all go to Cowabunga, the new swim park in town. It was very fun and very WET which felt great on a hot summer day! (Miles, Sadie, Weston, and Will)

Even Henry and Charlie had a good time!

And lastly we went to "This is the Place Pioneer Village," and though at times looking for shade and escape from the parching sun consumed our attention, I did feel appreciation for the early settlers who survived the hot Utah summers and the freezing cold winters. How could WE complain! The "living" museum provided the kids with a taste of life back in the early days.

Helping the "Settlers" beat the rag rug.
We were tired at the end of each day, but we made lots of fun memories! Sure love my Mindy and her spectacular SIX!
