Sophie had her dance recital in Boulder City, Nevada so Grampa and Gramma hit the road to cheer her on. She has danced since she could walk and has great stage presence and all the right dancin' moves! She danced ballet, tap and jazz numbers...all beautifully. 
This group of ballerinas was chosen to be the hostesses at the auditorium, so Sophie assisted us to our seats. She is so darling.
Austin was home with a babysitter, but the rest of the family was there to support their Sophie.
And of course, a picture with proud Gramma and Grampa!
We returned to St. George and enjoyed a few fabulous days there. Two beautiful bike rides and a spree to get ice cream in Bill's 1957 Bel Air convertible with our friends, Bob and Jeanette Furstenau, and lots of good quilting time for me.
No animal troubles this time, other than the fact that the goose family that I had fed on the previous trip had set up shop on our lower patio and left a lot of "poop" that Bill had a hard time cleaning up. Always something!
