Ryan's family came to St. George for the Easter Weekend and participated in a "Tri" race which includes swimming, biking and running....non stop! Julie finished at the top of her age group, Ty came in 1st place in his, and Sophie did very well considering her age group went up to 16 and she is 10! It was very fun to cheer them on and enjoy the time together.
Easter Sunday was beautiful in every way. Here we posed after a wonderful, music filled Sacrament Meeting. A pre-dinner activity followed the scripture "story" of the mission and atonement of our Savior. The story unfolded as we took turns reading scriptures inserted into plastic eggs and placed on our plates. Our feelings were tender as we shared these Spirit filled testimonies from ancient prophets concerning Jesus Christ. And then we gobbled down our meal in ten minutes...Thanksgiving style....what's to be done to make the hours of preparation make a meal last a little longer?
And of course, there was the "hunt!" The weekend flew by, but we loved having this precious family with us to share one of my favorite days.....Easter!
