Spring Break Highlights!

The Johnson crew made the long trek to St. George for spring break again this year, breaking up the long drive by stopping for a couple of days in Sandy to ski. We are so happy that they love it here and will frequent our home as often as they can. First activity this year was hiking the petrified sand dunes in Snow Canyon. Mindy got a few sideways stares as she hiked in her snow gear....hat, goggles and ski gloves...keeping her warm on this cool day.

Grampa and Henry pulled up the rear on the hike, and I couldn't resist snapping this picture. It was so cute to see the two of them strolling along together.

We enjoy biking the Virgin River bike trail each trip, making the hauling of the bikes from Boise worthwhile!

Grampa cranked up the hot tub for the kiddies...and terrorized Henry by tossing a glass of ice water over the deck to the tub below. Unfortunately, the icy water hit Henry right on his back and Henry found no humor in Grampa's antics.

Here is a perfect picture representing the day and age we live in. ... a two year old and a four year old playing games on 2 I Pads!

Weston brought his remote control wave runner to cruise the lake and Grampa tried his boat once again with little success...battery pack problem, but all had fun trying.

Each day was activity packed with golfing, swimming at the clubhouse or community pool, driving our mini motorcycle, going to a movie, playing cards and Wii games, riding in Grampa's cool cars, exploring the southern Utah red rock, eating out or picniking, playing at the park, star gazing, listening (somewhat) to General Conference, girl shopping, basketball under the bright outdoor lights that David purchased, bike rides, and.....and, I'm sure there was more.  Every day was very fun for all of us.

And lastly, the Johnsons were here on April 1st to add cheer to another birthday for me. Wow, 63....I'm speechless.

We're so glad the Johnsons chose to spend their Spring Break with Gramma and Grampa in St. George!!!!
