"For some must push, and some must pull, as we go marching up the hill...." Happy Pioneer Day everyone! Did you know that this pioneer song was actually written and sung by the handcart pioneers as they pushed and pulled all of their worldy belongings across the plains, the Rockies and into the valley? I guess the words of this song could actually apply to Julie right now as she is anxiously trying to push Lily into the world! (Hopefully, the doctors aren't having to pull too much!!!) Better to push and pull a baby into the world in a hospital rather than along a dusty trail!!! We are blessed to have a wonderful pioneer heritage. Love to all, Mom
